VACANCY: PRE-SCHOOL ASSISTANT (LUNCH COVER)

Hours for this role: 10:30am-1:00pm, Monday - Friday (10 hours a week). Term time only.
The purpose of this job is to provide invaluable support to the Pre-School team, ensuring the delivery of safe, nurturing, and high-quality education and care for younger children.
Join our team and make a difference to the lives of young children at Little Pickles Pre-School, based at Branston Infant Academy on Beech Road.
Essential criteria for this role;
Eagerness to learn and grow in the role.
Prior experience working with young children, aged 5 and under.
Basic understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Dedication to promoting equal opportunities.
Passion for supporting young children and their families.
Friendly demeanour with a flexible approach to work.
Physically and mentally suited to the responsibilities of caring for children.

We provide our children with learning and fun activities at our Before and After School Club, based at the Branston Junior Academy on Station Road.
Our aim is for our children to take the lead in planning activities based on their interests. Our team is here to facilitate this child-led approach and to ensure that they enjoy their time with us.
Our Big Pickles Assistant needs to be;
Passionate about the well-being and development of children
A natural leader and able to build strong and effective relationships with the team, the children, our parents and our partners
Experienced in working with children and child centered approach
Highly organised and be able to plan and implement effectively
Aware of the importance of the health, safety and well-being of the children in our care.
