MEET THE COMMITTEE

Little Pickles Pre-school and Big Pickles before and after school clubs are charity organisations run by a board of volunteer trustees. Without this board of volunteers, the settings wouldn’t be able to exist. You can help the setting thrive and improve your CV by joining us. Register interest today.

CHAIR / TREASURER

HOLLY MURPHY

Having moved around A LOT, I know how important it is to make friendships, support and welcome people to the local community. As a result, I felt compelled to join the committee and help out where possible. My daughter loved Little Pickles and both kids still can’t wait to get to Big Pickles (and stay till the end!).

I’m a Web Designer & Digital Project Manager now but have a background in Meteorology, Defence, Line and Account Management. In my ‘spare’ time, I love playing with my kids, seeing friends and family and running.

If you have something you would like to raise with the Committee please email me.

SECRETARY

SARAH REEVES

I’m Sarah. I have two daughters, my oldest attends little pickles and she loves it!

I was encouraged to join the committee when I looked around the setting with my daughter. I thought it was a great opportunity to give back to the community and enrich the children’s learning further with fundraising and improvements.

I have worked in the past with children as a Swimming instructor and developed skills in helping children achieve their full potential.

I have now gone back to my creative routes and I work in the design sector as a creative typesetter/designer.

I spend my free time with my lovely family and seeing my friends.

HR ADVISOR

ALISON PARSONS

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and over 20 years Human Resources and business experience, the last 10 years at Vice President Level. I have been very lucky to work in many parts of the world including, Singapore, Israel, Jakarta, Philippines, Bulgaria and have enjoyed learning about different cultures and working with people from such diverse cultural backgrounds.

I have a passion for seeing and supporting the development of people at all ages and for influencing high standards of performance in the way a business operates.

I joined the committee as I believe I can add value to the pre-school service, including its employees and the children and parents we serve.

I love to dance; particularly Salsa and I had lessons during my 2 years working in Sofia with Bulgarian Salsa champions.

FUNDRAISING LEAD

ELIZABETH MANN

Hi, I’m Elizabeth and I have a daughter who attends Little Pickles. I decided to join the committee to get more involved and support the setting, especially the fundraising side.

I’m a jeweller by trade and have worked for various jewellery companies in London and Lincoln, including our family jewellery shop, which was on Lincoln High Street. I still work with my Dad now and we have a workshop in Nettleham. I also run self catering holiday accommodation with my husband.

I love keeping fit, especially running and spending time with family and friends.
