THE LITTLE PICKLES TEAM

We love to play an active role in children’s development to encourage, engage and inspire them with learning. Meet our wonderful team below…

PRE-SCHOOL MANAGER

JODIE COOK

Hello, I'm Jodie, the Lead at Little Pickles Pre-school with a strong background in early years management. With a deep passion for nurturing young minds, I've dedicated many years to creating a warm, stimulating environment where children flourish as independent learners. My creative flair shapes Little Pickles into a welcoming 'home from home', inspiring curiosity and exploration among our little learners.

I thrive on continuous learning and stay updated through courses and training, ensuring I deliver the best care and education for children and their families. Holding a level 5 qualification in early years and a thorough understanding of safeguarding, I prioritise the holistic development and safety of every child.

Beyond work, I cherish family time with my three children and our little dog, Nala. I also enjoy dining out, movie nights, and connecting with friends.

CO-DEPUTY PRE-SCHOOL MANAGER

LOUISE EXTON-BROWN

Hello! I'm Louise Exton-Brown, I’m one of the deputy managers here as well as a key worker. I have a Level 5 qualification in Early Years, which fuels my passion for supporting children's learning and development. Being Elklan trained means I have special knowledge in speech and language support, too. I love creating a warm and nurturing space where every child feels safe to express themselves. My favourite way to spark joy in learning is through hands-on activities like baking and gardening, where kids can boost their communication, teamwork, and early maths skills in a fun way. Outside of work, I’m a mum of two grown-up children and enjoy adventures, music concerts, and spending time outdoors!

CO-DEPUTY PRE-SCHOOL MANAGER

ELIZABETH ZILLER

I have been part of Little Pickles since 2013, and during this time, I’ve developed a deep passion for inspiring and nurturing young minds. I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive in an environment that encourages curiosity, creativity and confidence.

I am naturally a creative person who loves designing engaging spaces and developing imaginative activities that spark children’s interest and support their individual learning journeys. I am also deeply committed to continuous learning, always updating my own knowledge and skills so that I can provide the very best experiences for the children in my care.

Supporting others is equally as important to me - I take great pride in fostering professional growth through ongoing continuing professional development, for both my staff and my team. Watching both children and colleagues grow, learn and succeed is what motivates me every day.

At Little Pickles, my goal is simple: to create a joyful, stimulating environment where every child feels valued, inspired and excited to explore the world around them.

Outside of work, I live with my husband and two beautiful children. I enjoy walking, eating out, reading and time with friends.
