WELCOME TO LITTLE PICKLES PRE-SCHOOL
We provide a safe and creative setting for children to explore, learn and develop in their early years, in order to maximise their development and growth opportunities.
PARENTS AS PARTNERS
All children are offered pre-visits upon starting with us to help settle them in and for us to build relationships with parents. Monthly newsletters provide updates on any extra curricular activities, while parents evenings and use of an online learning journal allow key workers to connect with parents, and stay and plays offer opportunities for parents to spend time within the setting.
If additional needs or support requirements are identified then our team will work closely with parents and appointments with key support networks can be offered upon request.
WE NEED YOU…
Little (and Big) Pickles is a not-for-profit charity. Any money we make goes towards the cost of running the centres as well as improvements that directly benefit our children. Our childcare centres therefore wouldn’t exist without our team of trustees and we need you!
Becoming a trustee is incredibly rewarding; you can help to make everything we do possible, as well as meeting new people in your area, volunteering as much, or as little time as you want.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO PACK?
Little Pickles Pre-School offers a healthy morning snack but we ask that parents provide the following:
A packed lunch.
Water bottle.
Nappies and wipes (if required).
Spare change of clothes (with names in please). Uniform isn’t compulsory but we do sell a few items so that you can save your nice clothes for home! Take a look at our uniform here.
Coat and wellies for play in the rain and mud kitchen.
